  4. Corbetto Carlos Says:

i will take a sub spot and pray to the footballing God’s that my knee is ok

  5. Corbetto Carlos Says:

Also a victory would pretty much give us 2nd spot barring a heavy goal swing on the last game of the season

  6. Im back this week to reclaim the goal scoring record

  7. I just looked and this lot have not turned up for a long time so probably a good chance we won’t have a game?

  9. I’m available this week.

  10. No. 15 (ex-legacy) Says:

    So far that makes:

    Crosby
    Dunne
    Hawkins
    Rooney

  11. I can play if needed. Cheers.

  12. No. 15 (ex-legacy) Says:

    That makes:

    Corbett (50%)
    Crosby
    Dunne
    Hawkins
    John
    Rooney

  13. Corbetto Carlos Says:

They wont turn up anyway and even with 1 leg I’d still back me to score

  14. Will we find out before if they are not going to turn up?

Not really up for playing a friendly to be honest

  15. No. 15 (ex-legacy) Says:

    We won’t know until Sunday.

I appreciate friendlies aren’t as appealing a prospect, but from Powerleague’s point of view they’re not optional – we need to turn out a team each week regardless so that:

    a) We get the default score of 10-0
    b) I don’t personally get stung for the match fee PLUS a fine of one match fee i.e. £70

It’s been a while since we’ve not had opposition, hopefully it won’t be a common occurrence moving forwards!

  16. If they don’t turn up we can go on the piss, Andy don’t bring your bike!!

  17. With Fulham – Sunderland o the box as well (What a treat!)

Ah ok Tim I didnt know all of that – if they don’t turn up I propose we maybe drink somewhere different?

  18. I’m keen.

  19. No. 15 (ex-legacy) Says:

We tried The George once, they have the football, but the place is a little pokey and family-oriented. Give it a go if you fancy it though, I’m happy to drink wherever!

  20. Is that the one right near cross harbour station?

I walked past there last Friday and it looked a bit of a dive! Im not really too fussed where we go, I’ll leave the bike at home in any case – last ride home on 5 pints was not great

  21. Corbetto Carlos Says:

we will turn up anyway and then take it from there. can someone bring an extra player as my knee is not looking like it will function by sunday. I will call Powerleague at 1pm on Sunday and check if we have a game and post on here plus facebook. either way it will be beer o’clock and a default 10-0 win gives us second

  22. They said we have a friendly against ac slater now and need to confirm by 12

  23. No. 15 (ex-legacy) Says:

    Friendly confirmed, enjoy the beers!

  24. Lads I’m struggling with a gammy back and not a hangover for once, how many we got?

  25. Corbetto Carlos Says:

3 and a crippled me thanks Rooney for the no-show
