Hertha Berlin vs Hoffenheim

Nothing concrete planned yet, just trying to gauge interest. I propose flying out on the Friday night, returning Monday, which is a bank holiday.

If you’re interested, please comment so we can see if it’s worth arranging the team’s third epic session in Berlin.

As some of you will know, Powerleague have announced that the Liverpool Street venue will be closing some time in mid-October.

The options for Sunday league 5-a-side in London are surprisingly limited; the only option as I see it is to stay at Liverpool Street for the next 4 to 5 weeks when we’ll be transferred to Powerleage Docklands (Crossharbour DLR).

Crossharbour is admittedly not as central as Liverpool Street but realistically we’re not going to find anywhere that is, and it’s easily reached from Bank on the DLR in about 15 minutes. The pitches are 2 minutes walk from the station.

I’d be interested to hear what you guys think though – are you up for a weekly trip to Crossharbour?

Available in all good game retailers on Monday 19th September 2011. All proceeds from this title will go towards purchasing very small cutlery, for very small children, with very small hands.

Dates – not sure… could do a mammoth, one-day session on the Sunday, or go on the Friday or Monday. Open to suggestions, and we can of course travel at different times. Match ticket price – TBC, but I’ll book above the Ostkurve, so it’ll be about 15 Euros. Accommodation – same place as before, so depending on numbers we’re talking 10-15 Euros a man per night. Flights – anywhere from £50-£100 return, depending on where you fly from and what days you’re there.

Apostrophes legend Farnsworth chalked up his 100th career goal in Sunday’s match against Swan and Speedos. The “terrorist” from Yorkshire achieved his century in just 48 appearances, making a mockery of Torres’ much lauded 50 goals in 72 matches. “Guarantee” Farnsworth capped his record-breaking performance with a 7-goal haul, a personal best for the in-fom striker.
